Extension of deal with UAE Basketball Association sees DPG become official sponsor of the UAE National Basketball Team as well as UAE National Basketball League
Dubai, UAE - 21 December, 2015: Dubai Properties Group (DPG), one of the largest fully integrated real estate and community development businesses in Dubai, announced today that it is to extend its collaboration with the United Arab Emirates Basketball Association to include the exclusive sponsorship of the UAE National Basketball Team as well as the UAE Basketball League.
DPG’s new sponsorship of the UAE national basketball team will deepen the support to homegrown sporting talent, by providing opportunities for national basketball players to compete under the UAE flag in regional and international championships.
As a result of the agreement, signed by Abdullatif AlMulla, Group Chief Executive Officer, Dubai Properties Group, and Abdulla Al-Ansari, UAE Basketball Association Secretary General, DPG returns as sponsor of the UAE Basketball League which will be named “Dubai Properties Group UAE Basketball League” for the forthcoming 2015/2016 season.
